Who the Fiddle Am I?

Boy, am I glad that you found my site. It means that more people than my mom and dad are reading this.

I’m Megs. I like when you, New Friend, say Megs because I’m too casual to be referred to as “Meg.” But if you don’t like it, you can call me Meghan. Like M-egg-in. You don’t need to say the “H” if you don’t want to. It’s there for decoration. Ninety-five percent of the people I know call me Meghan, but I’m trying Megs out because it suits me.

I’m writing this particular blog because I want to spread some Happy around. The world, right down to our neighborhoods, is full of devastating news that is simply unavoidable. I can’t stop what is happening, which was really getting my goat. But one day, I thought to myself, I says, “Hey, I’m a writer. Maybe I can write something that will make someone smile every now and then.” I’m not stopping devastation, but hopefully I’m bringing some light from my little corner of the internet.

Also an important fact:
Unless I’m writing from a coffee shop, at my side when I type is my silky terrier Logan. I refer to him as The Sweet Baboo, and he is my everything. Weighing in at approximately 14 pounds and standing about 18″ tall, he is socially awkward, handsome, and quiet until he hears rumors that food is available. I share similar qualities.
